Rachel Lam, K-12 Curriculum Coordinator

Rachel (she/her) has had 9+ years of working in public education in Oregon. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Integrated Teaching through the Arts. Passionate about social justice and the creation of systems where everyone feels a sense of belonging and safety, she is dedicated to fostering environments that empower and uplift. Her interests extend beyond education–she adores her furbaby, Poot (short for Pootius Maximus), finding solace and joy in his company. She also embraces the wonders of nature, seeking adventure in the great outdoors. With a deep appreciation for the arts, she recognizes the transformative power of creative expression and actively engages in various artistic forms. Moreover, she is on a personal journey of reconnecting with her roots, honoring and embracing her cultural heritage. Together, these facets of her life create a tapestry of passion, purpose, and a commitment to making a positive impact in both education and the world.
