End Hate in Education Summit
CCOR hosted its first virtual one-day End Hate in Education Summit that provides much-needed resources and awareness to campuses seeking to address hate violence. To do this, our office seeks to engage with facilitators and speakers with a history of community advocacy in response to the listed topics: anti-Blackness, xenophobia, misogynoir, trans-misogynoir, police accountability, islamophobia, anti-Asian hate violence, missing and murdered Indigenous women and persons, fighting white nationalism, safe zones, and bystander training. The overall goal is to provide students, staff, educators, and community members with data and tools to take actionable steps toward justice for those most impacted by hate.
The goal of this programming is to engage higher education and K-12 schools with the work of the PUAH coalition. The first program series will include presentations and performances by an incredible group of artists, activists, advocates, and changemakers. |
