Our Programs

All Campus Compact of Oregon programs are committed to promoting racial equity and social justice, and eliminating inequities that exist in Oregon in postsecondary access and success for students of color and first generation students. AmeriCorps members are placed at colleges, universities, K12 schools, or education nonprofits and work with a supervisor at these host sites. Each of our programs achieve this mission in a slightly different way.

Connect2Complete
Connect2Complete is an AmeriCorps State & National Program with two main focuses: Community College Retention and K-12 Attendance. Connect2Complete Community College is focused on improving graduation rates for Oregon community college students through peer advocacy and community engaged learning. This program empowers students in developmental education classes to complete their required coursework more quickly, reach their educational goals, and ultimately graduate with a certificate or degree. Connect2Complete K-12 is focused on improving attendance rates and school engagement in K-12 schools in Multnomah County through mentorship. Connect2Complete K-12 members work closely with school staff to create and implement interventions to address chronic absenteeism.
Summer Bridge
Summer Bridge places AmeriCorps Members at community colleges to connect with and support high school seniors who are expected to attend a community college in the fall. Members support newly-enrolled community college students through summer engagement activities to help them feel a sense of community and value as they enter their college community.
