Time Keeping and Reporting
All Members are required to keep time logs of their service. These time logs are electric and can be found online at: or.oncorpsreports.com.
When you are enrolled as an AmeriCorps Member you will receive a log in and password for OnCorps. Upon your first log in, you will be directed to change your password. This ensures that your electronic signature can be used. Do not share your password.
Timesheets most be completed by the 10th of the following month. For example, March’s timesheet is due no later than April 10th. Your timesheet will be reviewed by both your supervisor and an ORCC Program Director. Both will ‘approve your timesheet which locks your hours in. If something in your timesheet is misreported or looks incorrect, your timesheet will be ‘rejected’. This means one of us sees something we want to discuss further. In many cases, this is likely that your hours may be categorized wrong or you may have forgotten to include hours you served. Having your timesheet sent back to you for edits is not necessarily a bad thing.
However, it is recommended that you track your hours regularly instead of waiting until the end of the month when you’re likely to have forgotten what service you did at the beginning of the month. Whether you track those hours in OnCorps, on your computer, or even on a sticky note, etc doesn’t matter to us. As long as your final entries into OnCorps represent the true number of hours you served.
Since your supervisor does need to approve your timesheet, we highly recommend not waiting until the 10th of the month to submit your timesheet. If your supervisor is in meetings, on vacation, ill, or otherwise unable to view your timesheet that day it will result in your timesheet being late.
Additionally, throughout the year we will be requesting additional reports on your days of service and your service in general. We will provide those reports to you in advance and provide you with clear due dates. Please ensure those reports are completed in a timely matter.
