Immediately following the 2018 REACH Luncheon Fundraiser, college and university Presidents from Oregon (or their designees) joined in a discussion of the preliminary findings of the Equity Action Teams and engaged in dialogue around the persisting questions and barriers they face in supporting undocumented and immigrant students and recruiting, retaining, and promoting faculty and staff of color. This conversation will help shape the reports on these two topics Campus Compact will produce in September of 2018, and ensure the reports are as useful to institutions as possible.
Ben Cannon, Executive Director of the Higher Education Coordinating Commission, provided keynote remarks at the Summit.
