Kaycie López Jones
Kaycie López Jones (she/her/hers/ella and/or they/them) currently serves as the Director of Internal Equity with Campus Compact of Oregon. In this role, Kaycie is responsible for leading/administering our organizational Racial Equity Roadmap process, (including staff onboarding, internal office care and community accountability processes), internal office structures/processes/procedures, supporting our organizational policy review and recruitment/hiring processes. In her previous role with Campus Compact, as Educational Equity Program Manager, Kaycie developed and independently managed 2 state-wide critical mentorship programs that serve and center youth whose identities have been historically marginalized and minoritized, primarily focusing on Black & Brown youth, Indigenous youth, first-generation youth, and low-income youth. Kaycie holds a B.A. in Environmental Analysis: Human Behavior from Pomona College and an M.A. in International Development and Service with focus in Intercultural Communication and Intercultural Education. Kaycie also facilitates racial justice//educational equity//intercultural competence trainings both as an independent contractor, and as a member of her newly created intercultural equity consulting group, Asan/López Jones. Additionally, Kaycie is a Qualified Administrator for the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), a tap dance teacher, and recently served as adjunct faculty at Marylhurst University. Prior to her employment with Campus Compact of Oregon, Kaycie worked for the City of Portland’s Bureau of Development Services and helped launch the citywide Racial Equity Roadmap initiative.
