Member Benefits

  A unique forum for presidents of public and private, two- and four-year colleges and universities across Oregon to exchange ideas and further the civic purposes of higher education in OregonGroup of Students doing Service Learning Project

  Facilitate opportunities for higher education administrators, faculty, students, and community partners to network on a consistent basis

  Leadership and advocacy for higher education and service-learning policy

  Grant funds to support faculty development, strengthen service-learning programs and deepen campus/community partnerships

  Student tuition vouchers through AmeriCorps education awards

  Technical assistance through site visits, consultations, and trainings

  Monthly e-newsletter with information on grants, conferences, state and national activities, and resources related to civic engagement and service-learning

  Annual Continuums of Service Conference sponsored by the Western Regional Campus Compact Consortium (OR, WA, CA and HI)

  An opportunity to host a VISTA member to help foster campus/community partnerships and to deepen civic engagement of students on your campus

  A resource library of materials available for browsing or borrowing

  Oregon Service Roundtable, a statewide network of community service-learning coordinators, faculty, and community partners who convene regularly

Establishing Membership

There is a three-step process to become a member of Oregon Campus Compact.

Step 1. The president submits a letter indicating a desire to join Oregon Campus Compact and expressing his or her commitment to its mission.

Step 2. Submit membership dues. Contact us for information on dues for your college or university. Dues are computed based on the number of full-time equivalent undergraduate students.

Step 3. Complete the Campus Compact Member Information form. This form allows you to identify key contact people from your college or university. These individuals will receive information, publications and any other communications directly from us or National Campus Compact.

When you join Oregon Campus Compact, you automatically become a member of the National Campus Compact www.compact.org
