Priorities: Supports the creation of thematically integrated gatherings or dialogues involving a core group of diverse campus constituents. Projects should facilitate the greater purposes of higher education: learning and discovery, well-being, civic engagement, and preparation for living meaningfully in the world. For higher education institutions. Does Not Fund: Grant Range: Up to $5,000 for one institution and $15,000 for a consortium (3 or more). Due: December 9th, 2016 Oregon Community Foundation's Community Grant Program Priorities: Health & Wellbeing of Vulnerable Populations, Educational Opportunities & Achievement, Arts & Cultural Organizations, Community Livability, Environment & Citizen Engagement. For small to mid-sized nonprofits. Does Not Fund: Projects in individual schools, sponsorship of events, scientific research, religious activities Grant Range: $20,000 Due: January 15th or July 15th The Reser Family Foundation Priorities: The Arts, Education, Environment, Health Does Not Fund: Projects outside of Oregon. Grants will not be provided to defray deficits, for debt or mortgage retirement, for political campaigns, for lobbyist groups, projects involving litigation or for conduit organizations which use funds granted to support other organizations. Grant Range: $2,500 to $10,000 Due: End of the month in December, March, June, or September Wells Fargo Priorities: Community Development, Education, Human Services, Arts & Culture Does Not Fund: Individuals, for-profit organizations, political action, religious activities, single-issue or cause related foundations. Due: September 2017 The Jackson Foundation Priorities: The Jackson Foundation is a broad purpose charitable fund that responds to requests deemed most appropriate to "promote the welfare of the public of the City of Portland or the State of Oregon, or both." Does Not Fund: The Foundation considers projects located outside the Portland metropolitan area only if the project is of statewide appeal, rather than of local concern. The Foundation does not make grants to individuals or private businesses. Projects must primarily serve individuals in the target NEGF counties: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas, Yamhill and Columbia counties in Oregon, plus Clark County in Washington. Does Not Fund: capital requests, religious activities, individuals, travel. Grant Range: $5,000 - $20,000 Due: December 1st or June 1st Small Arts & Culture Grants Priorities: The purpose of the Small Arts and Culture Grant Program is to make funds available to very small organizations and for projects that might ordinarily have difficulty attracting philanthropic support. Grant Range: $1,000 to $5,000 Due: Currently not accepting proposals, reopening summer 2017 Mentor Graphics Foundation Priorities: The Foundation's support is focused on education from kindergarten through college. Particular attention is paid to K-12 schools that have need for additional funding for science, math and engineering programs. The Foundation also supports programs that enable students in the community to participate in scientific projects and engage in intellectual dialogue regarding current scientific theories. Does Not Fund: Religious organizations, environmental causes, animal rights organizations, capital improvement projects, campaign donations, fundraisers. Grant Range: $1,000 - $10,000 Due: end of February The West Family Foundation Priorities: To support the Mission of the West Family Foundation grants are awarded in the areas of public school enrichment, human services and other charitable causes.
