How to Apply to be a Summer VISTA
All positions in the Summer 2020 Summer VISTA cohort have been filled.
- Fill out the Summer VISTA interest survey. Let us know in the interest survey which host sites you are most interested in serving with.
- Email your resume to summervista@oregoncampuscompact.org
- If you haven't already, create a my.americorps.gov account and complete an application. Once complete, submit it to the 2020 Summer VISTA listing. If you need more detailed instructions about this step, view a My.AmeriCorps FAQ here and don't hesitate to call us.
- Complete the interview process. This will involve 1 20-30 minute interview with a Campus Compact team member, and one 15-30 minute interview with each site supervisor that is interested in you.
- Campus Compact will contact you to offer you a position if you are selected
- Log into your my.americorps.gov account and accept the position in this system. (Again, view the My AmeriCorps FAQ if you need help and don't hesitate to reach out to us.
