How to Apply to be a Summer VISTA:
Summer VISTA Program Runs from 6/21/21-8/18/2021
Recruitment for 2021 Summer VISTA is closed. However, you are welcome to apply as a part of our pool for future recruitment.
- Fill out the 2021-2022 Americorps Recruitment Interest Survey. Let us know in the interest survey which host sites you are most interested in serving with during the summer.
- Email your resume to serve@oregoncampuscompact.org & summervista@oregoncampuscompact.org
- Complete the interview process. This will involve a screening interview of 30-40 minute interview with a Campus Compact team member. Then, if you are moved forward in the process a 30 minute interview with each site supervisor at the specific host.
- If you haven't already, create a my.americorps.gov account and complete an application. Once complete, submit it to the 2021 Summer VISTA listing. If you need more detailed instructions about this step, view a My.AmeriCorps FAQ here and don't hesitate to call us.
- Campus Compact will contact you to offer you a position if you are selected. We'll call to offer the position, once accepted, we'll then send you an offer email.
- Then, Log into your my.americorps.gov account and accept the position in this system. (view the My AmeriCorps FAQ if you need help) and don't hesitate to reach out to us.
- THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS, IN ITS ENTIRETY, MUST BE COMPLETED BY MAY 17th 2021
